Are you looking for more customers?
Instead of lowering prices to attract more buyers, why not offer them less?
Thats’ what some food businesses are doing in hopes that they will bring in a whole new set of eaters, and revenue.
It may seem crazy to think that you can bring in more customers by giving them less, but that is exactly what some shoppers want. In most of the examples above, the companies are striving to give buyers the flavorful experience they desire with fewer calories.
However, customers want less of other things too, not just calories. This strategy can be implemented in variety of different ways.
- Gadgets that are simpler to use with fewer buttons (like the Flip camera)
- Cloud-based technology that requires virtually no set up time or disc
- Restaurants that offer a fixed menu
Do your customers want less? Are you giving them too many choices or features or capabilities? Sometimes easier, simpler and less may be better.
